Dr. Elisabeth Dahl

Dr. Dahl has been exercising her talents in program evaluation, grantsmanship, strategic plan development, and a critical eye for editing with MissionQuest for over 15 years. Dr. Dahl has led many MissionQuest research projects including the impact of homelessness on children’s schooling and mental health, alternative education curriculum on the effects of school readiness, early childhood intervention for children on the autism and developmental delay continuum, childhood obesity and the impact of health risk factors, and zero-sensory rooms for trauma clients.

Dr. Elisabeth Dahl, PsyD, is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in the developmental needs of children ages 2-12. She is well-versed in a wide range of psychological disorders, including Adjustment Disorders, Acute Stress Disorder, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Dahl thoroughly understands the necessity of support and intervention in early childhood to prevent and treat Adverse Childhood Experiences, and works closely with families to prevent trauma and support children who have had adverse experiences. She is an expert in understanding and providing Trauma-Informed Care.

Dr. Dahl has a history of volunteering for organizations aiding children, developmentally disabled individuals, and victims of crime. In the non-profit sector she has assisted in providing services to underserved children, refugee families, and at-risk youth.
