Sandy VandenBerge

Sandy VandenBerge brings more than 17 years of fundraising experience to MissionQuest. With expertise in planned giving along with obtaining major gifts and some grant-writing, Sandy raised more than $18 million in philanthropic support throughout her fundraising career. Her focus on building and stewarding relationships, while bringing awareness to funding needs, brought success for 11 years at a medical center in addition to a community foundation and medical research institute.

Born and raised in West Michigan, Sandy’s sense of adventure led her to teach at the university level in Taiwan (English) and in Albania (Social Work). Sandy’s eclectic work experience includes higher education, travel agent, medical social work, new home construction and legal assistant. She holds a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
