D Abshire (they/theirs)

D Abshire is a consultant and nonprofit board member who comes to MissionQuest from a corporate training background with Sprint, Qualcomm, and IDRC San Diego. A significant portion of D’s work is supporting NGOs through grants and a tailored blend of fundraising approaches. D’s mission and passion are for each client to be sustained and empowered in order to create from their Mission and Vision.

Specialty areas include arts and performance-based organizations, DEI and transformative justice engagement, and nontraditional education. D works in Development for Fresh Education in Long Beach and is in the process of procuring a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential.
